COLAIANNI PATRIZIA’ S CURRICULUM

Colaianni Patrizia was born in Sciacca (Agrigento), Italy, on 11 April 1972, but she has lived in the province of Como since she was three years old.
Since the age of seventeen she has developed a passion got writing poetry, fairy tales, aphorisms and short stories, thanks also to her personal thorough study of some French poets, Gianni Rodari’s works and science fiction. She obtained a high school diploma as a primary school teacher at the Canossian Institute in Milan.
She works as an administrative assistant in the schools of Milan and its province.
She’s studying Modern Literature at a University in Rome.
In 2009 she won ex aequo the national poetry prize - on the theme "Man and the sea" - "Poetry in notes", organised by Ennepilibri, the publishing house in Imperia.
In the years 2010, 2012 and 2014 she was finalist at the National Poetry Prize "Libero de Libero" in Fondi (Latina), respectively with the sylloges: "Poems", covering the subject of journey, "Poems intimate" and "On the wings of life".
She has also received various certificates of participation in the competition for the unpublished fairy tale - Hans Christian Andersen Award - Baia delle favole of Sestri Levante (Genoa).
In 2001 she had her the first collection of poetry "Topaz and Strelitzia", published ​​in the series edited by the A.L.I. Penna d’Autore of Turin.
Her other lyrics and aphorisms are published in anthologies of various publishing houses.
She has been interviewed by various journalists from local Sciacca television networks, such as Tele Radio Sciacca and Tele Radio Monte Kronio, to talk about her own poetry.
In 2012 she had the following booklets published by a Milanese print house: "Ten fairy tales", the poetic sylloges "Moon drops", "Ice of fire", "Voyage poems", the long sci - fi story for children "The Galaxy of the Red Sun" and the fairy tale "The merchant of Artusia and Vera's truth".

In 2014 she was finalist (ranked 4H ex aequo) with the unpublished short story “The fairies’ flower”, at the 4H national literary prize “Witches and Vampires & Co.”, organized by Giovane Holden Edizioni.
The unpublished poetry "Enigma" is selected for the anthology of the literary prize "Florence Capital of Europe", 2016 edition. In the same literary competition, the unpublished poetry "Illusion of a love" received mention of merit, whilst "Ten fairy tales" received an honorable mention (with certificate and plaque), as well as " Voyage poems ".
In 2017 she devised the design for the cover of the CD by C. Scalici: “The sincere years”, containing her own song “A secret wish” and the song “Patrizia”, which her mother dedicated to her.
In 2018 four of her poems became songs, inserted in the CD by C. Scalici: “It’s always us”.
The titles of the songs: "Love is an ember", "A blue wing", "The beach", "A true love".
The afore mentioned songs are posted on Facebook and YouTube and cour be found by typing Calogero Scalici and have achieved a considerable number of views.
She wrote "Mother is my star" recorded on the CD "A thought for all" by C. Scalici and broadcast in the radio programme "Sweet awakening" and "Wake up" by TRS.
In 2019 she recorded two video clips: “Spring” (2nd version) and “15 December 2019”, both posted on the YouTube channel “Colaianni Patrizia”.
She had a screenplay for an animated film printed by a Milanese print house: "Marian and the rainbow fairies - The Kingdoms’survival".
